Diamonds in the Rough: Smart Kids Who Learn Differently, the national conference co-sponsored by AEGUS and Weinfeld Education Group, will take place on March 11-13, 2010 in Rockville, Maryland at the University of Maryland, Shady Grove. The conference will bring together educators, parents and professionals who appreciate the unique shrengths and needs of bright kids who learn differently.
On Thursday, the 11th, half day and full day pre-conference sessions will offer in-depth exploration on a variety of topics related to the education of gifted underachieving students. Friday and Saturday offer a full slate of presentations for teachers, psychologists, social workers, other related service providers, parents, and the students themselves.
